Sony Music Japan, Sony Ericsson hacked
A Lebanese hacker group called "Idahca" is believed to have done the attack on Sony Ericsson eShop web site using SQL injection. E-mail, Passwords, and names of thousands of users have been exposed. In a statement Sony Ericsson made they said records for around 2,000 customers have been compromised. This includes names, emails, and a hashed version of their passwords.
About the attack with Japan another hacker group call LulzSec Claims responsibility and told they used a SQL injection attack. The group left a message on their Pastbin post.
"This isn't a 1337 h4xor, we just want to embarrass Sony some more. Stupid Sony, so very Stupid."
They announced the hack in a tweet in which the Hacker News caught it first. With all the breaches taking place there are those who believe Anonymous has started a House of Cards effect when they used a D-Dos attack on Sony. Whatever the cause maybe whoever is to blame at the end of the day its Sony's responsibility to get it together and find out what's the smartest step to take.
