On Friday around 32 people believed to be apart of Anonymous have been arrested which happened just days after the Spanish police arrested 3 suspects believed to have been apart of Anonymous's attack on Sony. Out of those 32 arrested 8 of them are believed to be under the age of 18.

In its report on the Turkish arrests, The Guardian outlines the government's new filtering system:

These are labeled "domestic", "family", "children" or "standard", but hacker activists gathered under the Anonymous umbrella claim they will lead to state control of individual internet use, and allow authorities to keep records of such use.

Security firm Sophos says that the ones arrested in Turkey used a tool called LOIC (Low Orbit Ion Cannon), which apparently isn't as anonymous as they thought. Graham Cluley of Sophos states:

"LOIC...doesn't do a very good job of covering your tracks--making it potentially easy for computer crime authorities to track those behind the attacks."
